  • In 2015/16, 72.6% (67.2%, 78.0%) of Chatham-Kent adults age 18 and older were classified as overweight or obese (based on self-reported height and weight) which was significantly higher than 61.5% (60.4%, 62.5%) of Ontarians.
By Age Group
  • In Chatham-Kent, the prevalence of self-reported overweight or obese in those 18 to 44 was significantly higher compared to Ontarians of the same age group.

  • The prevalence of self-reported overweight or obese was significantly higher among adult males than females.
